The 15th Arab Film Festival 2026 in Korea: Arab Cinema & Culture

The 15th Arab Film Festival returns to Korea for its 15th anniversary, bringing a selection of films that explore the lives, cultures, and perspectives of people across the Arab world. Screenings will take place in Seoul, online, and in Gwangju.

This year’s festival is centred around the theme “Same Time, Different People. Different Time, Same People,” reflecting on the experiences and emotions that can connect people across different places, generations, and backgrounds.

The programme features eight films from 10 Arab countries, including Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, and the UAE. The selection brings together recent films recognised at international film festivals alongside works by established Arab filmmakers, offering diverse perspectives on identity, culture, society, and everyday life.
