Moment Morocco

Seongsu has no shortage of concept restaurants, but Moment Morocco — also known as MOMO — occupies a category entirely its own. Opened in late 2025, it is the only Moroccan fusion establishment in the neighbourhood, and the story behind it is genuine: the recipes were learned directly from Moroccan locals, and the decorative objects that line the space were brought back from Morocco itself. The result is a place that shifts registers through the day — bright and brunch-friendly in the morning, warm and low-lit by evening, with wine, cocktails and signature Moroccan dishes that are simply not available anywhere else in the area.

The concept is built around the idea that Moroccan food deserves to be discovered in Korea, not just by the expat community but by Koreans looking for something genuinely different. Regulars describe it as their hidden spot — the kind of place you want to keep to yourself, and then feel compelled to tell everyone about.
